Are gradient QR codes scannable?

Yes — most modern camera apps handle color QR codes well. For best reliability, keep foreground colors dark and set error correction to M or H when using gradient palettes.

What export size should I use?

For digital use (websites, email, slides) 256–512px is plenty. For large print — posters, banners, packaging — export at 512–1024px for sharp, crisp edges.

Is this free? Do I need an account?

Completely free, no account needed. The tool runs 100% in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.

What do the error correction levels mean?

Error correction lets a QR remain scannable even if part of it is covered or damaged. L (7%) gives a compact code. H (30%) adds the most redundancy — useful when overlaying a logo on the QR.
